Data Erasure Guide

Last updated: September 9, 2026

BodyTracker does not require an account. You can erase the content associated with the current installation from inside the app.

How to erase your data

  1. Connect the device to the internet.
  2. If you previously used iCloud synchronization, sign in to the same iCloud account.
  3. Open BodyTracker and go to Settings.
  4. Select Erase BodyTracker Data.
  5. Review the scope and exclusions, then confirm. Keep the app open until it reports completion.

If a stage fails, BodyTracker identifies the stage and offers Retry. It does not report success after a partial erase.

Other devices and uninstalling

Update BodyTracker on devices connected to the same iCloud account before erasing. Updated devices apply the private erasure marker before synchronizing. An older version may not understand the marker. Uninstalling the app by itself removes local app storage through iOS but does not notify the feedback service or erase independent Apple Photos copies.

If you cannot use the app

Email support@bodytracker.app with “Privacy request” in the subject. Explain that the request concerns BodyTracker and provide only the information reasonably needed to locate the relevant pseudonymous installation. Do not send health information or photos by email.
